The course is designed to prepare students to become a skilled phlebotomy and EKG technician to work in a health care setting. such as hospital, care facility, doctor office, nursing home ,rehab center and clinical laboratory.

The program is to give the participants the knowledge on procedures of electrocardiography technique using EKG machine will be covered in this course. As well as an overview of laws, HIPPA ,human body parts, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology with an emphasis on the cardiovascular system. to become a EKG technician. The is also to give students the knowledge on communication skills, medical terminology ,infection control, general lab safety rules ,including OSHA.CPR{ First Aid ),medical law and ethics and clinical procedures using different types of blood draws to become a phlebotomy technician.
